Use Vinegar In Cleaning Your Coffee Pot

To make sure that you have the best tasting coffee every day, you need to maintain a clean coffee maker.  This can be very tedious but it is important to do so that bacteria, grime, lime and oil deposits from the coffee beans will not build up and ruin your coffee.

Even though it is not fatal, drinking out of a dirty coffee maker is not safe.  Oil and a whole lot of other particles are extracted when you brew coffee and over time, these components on the coffee maker surface will thicken.  Cleaning your coffee pot regularly ensures that the particles are removed.

You can use vinegar when cleaning your coffee pot.  You just need to run it through the filter and into the pot.  The food grade acid from the vinegar helps in breaking down the grime and lime deposits.  Plus it is safe to use and you don’t need to worry about poisoning toxins and dangerous fumes.

Use dish washing soap for the glass pot and rinse thoroughly after running vinegar through it.  This will eliminate the smell from the vinegar.

Doing this is very easy and it will only take you a couple of minutes to do.  The goal is to have a clean machine that you can use to brew a great tasting healthy cup of coffee every single day.
