Two of the best coffee beans that are commercially out in the market today are Robusta and Arabica. These originated from the genus coffee shrub and have more than ninety known species.
Arabica was the original coffee plant and often most cultivated crop. This is also most often the demand by discriminating consumers all over the world. It is said to have originated in the Middle East specifically in Yemen.
Coffee beans Robusta on the other hand originated in the central and western parts of Africa up to Uganda, Guinea and the south of Sudan. It has an inherently bitter taste hence it is not as highly regarded as the Arabica coffee beans.
Since Arabica is better tasking and is harvested in three quarters of the globe, it is a tad more popular than coffee beans Robusta. Its smooth taste is also preferred by most coffee connoisseurs. It is however more prone to coffee rust disease than the Robusta making Arabica more expensive than other coffee beans.
Choosing the best coffee is as important for a lot of people as having fresh water to drink. In fact a lot of people consume more coffee than they do water. The demand for coffee and coffee beans globally is very high and the proven best tasting coffee beans of its entire species is Robusta and Arabica.
